BERRY COLLEGE AUGUST 2009
Congratulations to all the Roswell Runners for their performances at Berry. Outstanding races were run by Sally Kirklewski (15th) in the girls' varsity race, Charlie Sheridan (3rd) , Cameron Crumley ((20th) in the boys' JV race, and Alia Giglio (15th) in the girls' JV race.
2009 MEET SUMMARIES

The girls ended a terrific season at the state meet finishing 8th overall. Sally finished 18th , Devon, 32nd,Jessica 36th,Whitney finished 57th and Morgan 75th to round out the top five scorers. The girls also ran an all time low average of 20:09 for Roswell Girls’ Teams. The boys’ team missed state meet for the second time in three years by just one point. Overall, it was a terrific season !
Varsity Girls take 1st at Atlanta Invitiational!
Once again the Roswell Girls’ Cross Country Team had an amazing performance Saturday at the Atlanta Invitational winning 1st place over both 7th ranked Parkview and 3rd ranked Marist. The girls are currently ranked 6th in the state in Class AAAAA and will look to improve their ranking this coming Saturday at Gainesville when they will face all the top 10 ranked schools in the state at the Coach Wood Invitational. Congratulations to the varsity girls cross country team for their continuing great performances!
VARSITY GIRLS WIN FULTON COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS! VARSITY BOYS TAKE 5th! JV BOYS GET 3rd! OVERALL 3rd PLACE FINISH FOR RHS! BEST EVER FINISH!
The varsity girls won the Fulton County Championship Saturday at Webb Bridge Park. This is the first time ever the girls have won the championship. Sally Kirklewski and Jessica Muse were first team all county, Devon King and Whitney Sweet were 2nd team.
The boys finished 5th and Andrew Lagasse was 2nd team all county with Cameron Wagenbrenner 3rd team. The JV boys finished 3rd with Charlie Sheridan making first team
JV, as well as Cameron Crumbley. Robert Stonaker and Vince Guagliardo made 2nd team.
Overall the Roswell team finished 3rd, the best ever! Congratulations to all the runners!
CONGRATS TO FEMALE RUNNERS AT THE UGA INVITATIONAL!
The varsity girls' team finished a strong 2nd place with four of the girls' in the top 25, Sally, 8th, Jessica, 13th, Whitney, 17th, and Devon, 24th. The JV girls finished third, only 2 points from 2nd, with Morgan Green running a fantastic 4th, followed by Mallory Sweet, 18th, Mary Carpenter, 20th, in her first race ever, and Amy-Marie Sauzier, 24th. All in all the girls ran super well in terrible conditions.
CONGRATULATIONS!
The girls team won the Warpath Invitational with 24 points, placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 11th!
Andrew Lagasse and Sally Kirklewski also took 1st place in the Varsity Boy's and Varsity Girl's divisions!
